Camp Del Rio - Day 1

Day one at Camp Del Rio was filled with excitement and adventure for all the campers. After campers arrived, they immediately played various sports with their fellow campers and counselors. Soon, they were divided into 8 teams, where they created their own name, cheer, and flag! 

Most importantly, Father Michael and the rest of the Camp Del Rio campers enjoyed an inspiring mass. To end the day, campers were read chapters about The Miracle of Kapaun, learning about the brave story of Father Kapaun. 

Sadly, there reading and feast of s’mores was interrupted by an AMBUSH OF KOREAN SOLDIERS AND THEIR FEROCIOUS WATER BALLOONS.Overall, day one at Camp Del Rio was a fun and successful day!
