Trip to Sacred Heart Apostolic School (round 2) Day 1

Today was our first full day and it was glorious.  The weather was sunny and warmer than usual and allowed for lots of outdoor activities.  We began our day with morning prayers, meditation and Mass.  After a big breakfast, we went to Michigan to play in the snow and dunes.  Much of the snow has melted since last week, so after walking on the ice drifts on Lake Michigan we went on the backside of the dunes for sand sledding.  The dunes are enormous and you'll see us sailing down a steep grade.  After some snacks at the park, we headed back to Sacred Heart for lunch and sports.  A group of 30 Canadian boys are here visiting on retreat and we've gotten to know them as well as the Apostolics. We played a crazy game with everybody in the gym. We are closing the day with evening prayers.  Please visit tomorrow for more photos.
